CDPQ Infra Presents Ambitious Master Plan to Enhance Quebec Mobility

Projects to Undergo Evaluation, Potential Investments to Follow

CDPQ Infra, a leading public infrastructure contractor in Quebec, has unveiled a comprehensive master plan aimed at significantly improving mobility within the province. The ambitious plan outlines a range of potential infrastructure projects that could transform the transportation landscape and enhance connectivity for residents and businesses alike.

WEB CDPQ Infra, a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), has been tasked with evaluating two major projects as part of the master plan. These projects include a high-speed rail link between Montreal and Quebec City, and a light rail transit system in the Greater Montreal area.

The evaluation process will involve detailed feasibility studies, environmental assessments, and public consultations. CDPQ Infra expects to complete the evaluations within the next two years, after which it will make recommendations on potential investments.
